FanaticalGrabber is a browser extension that helps you reveal, export and redeem game keys from your own Fanatical account.
Data the extension accesses
- Game titles and keys shown on fanatical.com pages you open.
- Your Steam session cookie (store.steampowered.com), only when you click "Redeem on Steam".
- A local list of keys you've already redeemed, with status and timestamp.
- If you press "Send what I paid" on your Steam purchase history page: the game titles and prices listed there. Only titles and prices are sent, to your own Steam Value Checker library.
- If you press "Record retail prices for my keys" on your Steam licenses page: the titles of your key activations. Only titles are sent.
- If you use "Send to Steam Value Checker": a link code you paste in once, which is kept in your browser.
How it is used
- Keys and titles are used only to create the exports you request (TXT, CSV, JSON, Markdown, HTML, XLSX, clipboard) and to redeem keys on your own Steam account when you click Redeem.
- The Steam session cookie is used only to send your redeem request to Steam on your behalf.
Storage and sharing
- Exports are generated locally in your browser.
- The redeemed-key list is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage). Removing the extension deletes it.
- Keys are sent to Steam (store.steampowered.com) only when you click Redeem.
- "Send to Steam Value Checker" is optional and only runs when you click it. It sends game titles (never keys) with your link code to steamvaluechecker.fly.dev, the developer's own bot, to add them to your library there. You can turn the link off any time with /library grabber in Discord.
- Apart from that optional send, no data is sent to the developer or to any other third party. The extension has no servers, analytics or advertising, and does not sell or transfer user data.
This website
- The extension itself collects nothing. This web page shows a visitor counter in its footer. It keeps two totals (visitors and page views) on the developer's Steam Value Checker server. It sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses, names or per-visit records; your browser only remembers that it has already been counted. The "viewing now" number uses a random ID created for your tab; the server keeps it in memory for about a minute after your last ping and then forgets it.
